Happy Monday Escapees!

There’s something refreshing about a September.It brings with it that crisp, invigorating energy—a subtle invitation to hit the reset button. It doesn’t require a dramatic overhaul; sometimes, a simple shift is all it takes to see things in a new light.

Think of your career as a garden. Over time, it grows in various directions—some parts flourishing, others starting to look like a scene from Jumanji.. Now is the perfect moment to step back, assess what’s thriving, and prune away what’s not. Maybe it’s time to redefine those goals that were so exciting in January but are now gathering dust. Or, maybe it’s about exploring new opportunities—like finally taking that online course you’ve bookmarked 14 times.

Now, let’s be clear: pressing reset doesn’t mean throwing everything out and starting from scratch (although be our guest if a full Marie Kondo-ing of your career is what’s needed). It can be about refocusing, recharging, and reenergising. Like adjusting the sails of a boat to catch a better wind, a small change in direction can lead to new horizons.

It’s easy to coast along, feeling comfortable with the status quo. But staying in one place for too long can lead to a plateau—where your progress stalls and the excitement wanes. A reset offers the chance to break free from that stagnation, to revisit your ambitions, challenge your routine, and open yourself up to fresh ideas.

So, this September, why not embrace the spirit of renewal? Together, let’s take this opportunity to recharge, refocus, and maybe even throw in a new idea or two.
