Meet the top 10 purpose-led organisations to work for in 2022

Looking for a more flexible, impactful and forward-thinking job? Discover The Escape 100 list, a campaign spotlighting the top purpose-led organisations to ‘escape to’ in 2022. These organisations are officially the best places to work, thanks to their purpose, planet and people activities.

These 100 teams were selected from 13,000 company nominations, and came out top after passing through a rigorous 3-month application process across 6 criteria (Impact, People, Mission, Planet, Innovation and B-Corp) , including employee reviews and votes.

This year’s list comes at a key moment in working history. Since the pandemic started, employees all over the world have been given time to think about what really matters to them (as recently reported by The Times). In a recent survey of 1500 jobseekers, 73% said that their reflection time during the pandemic has made them reevaluate their path, and 89% now wanted a career with a clear sense of purpose (up from 71% in 2015). If you also want a remote or flexible working job, you’re not alone - 74% said that a flexible working location is now their primary barometer when assessing a new role.

If you’re regularly fighting off the Monday blues or ‘Sunday scaries’, then maybe it’s time to make a move to a social enterprise or B-Corp, that also puts its people first.

We’ve rounded up the top 10 scoring organisations in The Escape 100 below. To find out more about all 100 winners, check out the full list here.
