Let’s walk together!
The Escape Routes are monthly outdoor 60-minute walks all over Europe, where you can meet like-minded people that want to leave their corporate jobs and switch to purposeful careers.
Together we walk out of the city into green open spaces, along rivers and coastal paths, or through vast parks with city views. We chat about what we dream of working in, share advice related to purposeful work, bounce ideas off one another, and maybe even connect contacts that could be useful for us.

Who can I meet?
This is your chance to meet the people who have already made a corporate escape, have an idea for a purposeful project, are freelancing for NGOs and charities, innovating in impact startups, or just want to work in something that does good for the planet and society.

When is this happening?
Every month there will be a walk held in different global locations, simultaneously.
In the winter due to the clocks changing and it getting darker faster, we’re meeting earlier in the day, but as soon as summer returns we’ll be back to post-work sunset sessions!

Where are the walks?
All over Europe, and growing month by month to new locations. So far we have run Escape Route walks in the UK (London NE/NW/E, Cornwall, Brighton, Bath, Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh, Cambridge), France (Chamonix/Morzine), Spain (Granada, Madrid, Barcelona), Portugal (Lisbon, Ericeira).

Why did we start the walks?
There’s so much research into the positive effects of walking outside in nature - it lowers stress levels, increases creativity and ability to ‘think big’, connects us better with people, lowers blood pressure, improves memory, and more.
