What you'll learn

Writing a CV is one of those life skills very few of us learned with any sort of real guidance. A template here, an article there, we pick up advice and muddle along. The problem is that much of the CV advice out there is outdated in the modern world of work. We're passionate about helping great people stand out to great organisations, which is why we've broken down the steps to writing an amazing CV which can help you truly stand out amongst your peers. We'll debunk some myths, highlight common CV mistakes we've seen from looking at 1000s of them, and help you to identify the right way to write a CV for you. In this course you'll learn the essentials, some pro tips and advice, and we'll highlight our favourite CV tools so you can go away and create your own. You'll also have access to a full course workbook, giving you space to fill in your own thoughts, ideas, and making the actual writing of your CV a much less stressful process.

We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all template approach for CVs, which is why we point you to a number of different templates and tools you can use to tailor your CV to the roles you're applying to. Many of these are free or very inexpensive to use.

Yes! We have created the ability for all students to ask questions, which we will go through and answer to the best of our ability.

No, we don't. You know your story and motivations the best, and are the best person to write your CV. Whilst we are sure there are good people out there who can do it for you, we wouldn't suggest it's the best path. We can assure you with the advice in this course and the attached workbook you'll find it a much easier process.

At the moment we don't have capacity to do this, however, if you post in the community section in the CV topic we're sure you can get some good feedback from your peers! Watch this space as we'll be releasing an option for 1-to-1 coaching and CV advice in the coming months.
