Our consulting firm offers a unique opportunity to jump-start your career in consulting by working directly with an experienced ex-McKinsey consultant. Role Summary:

  • Assist with the design and execution of client workshops, including creating impactful PowerPoint presentations.
  • Analyze market and client data to discover insightful patterns and trends.
  • Produce podcasts, from identifying potential guests to promoting episodes.
  • Coordinate both in-person and virtual events, managing venue logistics and guest relations.
  • Update the company website and manage our social media presence.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable with phone and video conferencing.
  • Keen perceptiveness about individuals and groups.
  • Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
  • Rigorous attention to detail and quality control of work.
  • Excellent time-management skills for handling multiple projects and events.
  • Ability to grasp abstract concepts and apply them in practical client scenarios.
  • Proficiency in numerical and logical problem solving, especially with Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Squarespace, and the ability to learn new software tools quickly.

Compensation for this role is £2250 per month, which equates to an annual salary of £27,000.

Key activities will include:  

  • Assisting with design and delivery of client workshops (incl. PowerPoint)
  • Analysing market and client data to identify unexpected patterns and trends
  • Podcast production: identifying and contacting potential guests, publicising episodes on Linked In and elsewhere
  • Arranging in-person and virtual events, including finding appropriate venues and liaising with guests
  • Updating website and maintaining social media presence

  • Positive attitude, flexible, sense of humour, willing to take initiative
  • Good interpersonal manner, comfortable and relaxed on the phone and Teams / Zoom
  • Perceptiveness about people and groups
  • Flawless written and spoken English
  • Attention to detail, able to check quality of own work
  • Time-management to juggle multiple projects and events
  • Ability to understand abstract concepts and apply them pragmatically to client situations
  • Numerical / logic problem solving (especially with Excel)
  • Microsoft Office, Squarespace, able to pick up other software tools 

Compensation: £2250 per month. (£27,000 annual equivalent)
