- Develop and implement innovative marketing and communications strategies across Belton, Woolsthorpe, & Grantham House.
- Create engaging content across various channels and coordinate knowledge of events across the properties.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Communications cluster lead and build relationships with local stakeholders and media.
- Engage with audiences beyond physical boundaries through digital outreach and partnerships.
- Participate in the duty management rota to ensure property operations run smoothly during open hours.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

- Quick learning and effective content creation for various marketing channels.

You'll join the Visitor Operations & Experience team, working alongside the Welcome Manager, Programming & Partnerships Officer, Fundraising Officer & Volunteering & Community Officer.
Belton House is an outstanding 17th Century mansion renowned for its internationally significant art and architecture, surrounded by 1200 acres of spectacular parkland, Gardens and Pleasure Gardens. What you'll be doing
You'll deliver our existing marketing and communications plan as well as develop our future strategy. You'll work with the whole portfolio (Belton, Woolsthorpe & Grantham House) to develop engaging content for our channels and co-ordinate the knowledge of activities taking place across our properties.
You'll work closely with the Marketing Communications cluster lead consultant, and we expect you to develop relationships with local stakeholders, including media as required.
As part of this role, you'll help the portfolio work beyond its geographic boundaries; through digital outreach, partnerships, livestreaming and supporting our collection loans by highlighting major exhibitions where they can be seen.
We have a very ambitious programming strategy set out that needs your support to make sure to reach the right audiences.
You'll be part of the duty management rota where you'll be responsible on the day for the smooth running of the property during opening hours, acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and customers in case of emergency, enquiry or complaint.
Who we're looking for
To deliver this role successfully, you'll need:
- to be organised and able to prioritise your workload and meet tight deadlines
- to be a team player, who can also work on your own initiative
- to be good at absorbing information quickly, and generating pertinent written content and imagery
- the ability to create captivating year-round marketing plans
- experience in some aspect of marketing communication and developing marketing and communications plans
- experience in creating, using, and editing content in different channels (web, social media, email)
- experience working with stakeholders and building relationships
- the ability to spot a potential story or risk to reputation and handle a press enquiry
