Role Description
Reporting into the Head of Group Accounting and Reporting, the Group Consolidation and Reporting Manager will oversee and be responsible for the production of the Annual Report and monthly consolidation process. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset, who will ensure robust financial controls and processes are in place, striving to improve the control environment and move towards best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight and responsibility for the annual statutory reporting process to drive the production of the consolidated Annual Report & Financial Statements for Group and subsidiaries (UK and overseas)
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and financial reporting under FRS 102, US GAAP and other local and in multiple currencies
- Review of sub-consolidations prepared by local and overseas accounting teams
- Assist with preparation of monthly / quarterly reports and board pack for the Executive Team and shareholders
- Assist the Senior Finance Team by providing information and analysis to support the accounting treatment and impact for investment and divestments
- Ongoing maintenance of consolidation entities and adjustments in the accounting system
- Management of Financial Statement preparation software
- Ongoing review of intercompany positions and reconciliations with regional accountants
- Preparation and delivery of training programs to finance and non-finance personnel in areas of complex accounting
- Liaise directly with auditors to respond to audit queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Producing regulatory reports and necessary disclosures
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance and preparation of internal documentation and memos
- Assist in implementation of new policies

Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in finance reporting and consolidation
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Technical accounting, analytical and mathematical skills
- Up to date knowledge of IFRS and FRS 101
- Experience of US GAAP benefit
- Adept at managing accounts for a large number of companies and delivering to deadlines
- Strong influencing and communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior management
