⭐ About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior ML Engineer with excellent Python skills and ready to tackle a wide range of challenges. If you are excited by the prospects of Generative AI (LLMs) and ML models and are eager to use them in production to solve real problems this is the position for you. You will be part of our first squad fully dedicated to leveraging AI in the company and you will be reporting directly to our Chief AI Officer.

Although this is a remote position, we do requiere candidates to be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

⭐ What you will be doing

Selecting the most appropriate Generative AI, NLP and machine learning model for each use case Fine-tune existing models to solve specific problems with better accuracy and latency Supporting the tech lead in building the right architecture of scalable AI/ML systems Write production code that meets our company high-quality and maintainability standards Support the Data Engineer in building custom data pipelines Propose and implement solid QA processes and metrics to track for each model Be an active participant of the squad and technical chapters Stay updated on machine learning and natural language processing advancements. Analyze production data to find issues and come up with solutions You will be part of a mission driven Agile team (Scrum/Kanban)

⭐ Requirements

5+ years of professional experience with Python 3+ years of experience as ML engineer End-to-end experience of training, evaluating, testing and deploying machine learning products in production Fluent with PyTorch/Tensorflow or similar Experience with the Hugging Face libraries (i.e. transformers, peft) Experience fine-tuning pretrained models and using vector search to enhance LLMs results Experience with LLM frameworks (i.e. LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack) and prompt engineering techniques Experience with monitoring platforms for ML (i.e. Arize, Weights & Biases, MLFlow, Neptune) Ability to write production level code in Python (SOLID principles) Well versed with best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and continuous integration Experience with AI cloud platforms (ideally Google Vertex AI platform) Excited by the prospects of Generative AI and ML technologies and eager to use them to solve real problems Ability to stay updated with the recent advancements in AI and be a leader in their implementation as new features Ability to be proactive, challenge assumptions and come up with solutions Good communication and collaboration skills Good level of spoken and written English

Previous experience with RLHF Experience with Google Vertex AI platform Experience with using the event sourcing pattern and related technologies (i.e. EventstoreDB, Kafka) Experience in .NET Core
