About the Role
Bikmo is looking for a Partnerships Business Development Manager to join our successful Partnerships team and grow our programme revenue in the UK and Ireland.
As the Partnerships Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind establishing strategic relationships within the UK and Ireland cycling community. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our network, fostering collaborations, and creating meaningful partnerships that elevate our brand and amplify our impact.

How you will contribute
Your key duties and responsibilities will be:
- Identify Opportunities: Proactively seek out and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that align with our brand values and business objectives, fostering growth and mutual benefit.
- Craft and implement a strategy for acquiring fresh partnerships while surpassing our revenue targets with impactful precision.
- Evaluate and qualify opportunities to ensure the partnership delivers the intended results for both parties.
- Harnessing the power of Tools: Using CRM tools to maintain order and adeptly oversee the pipeline of your partnerships with efficiency.
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations and collaboration discussions, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial, sustainable, and contribute to the overall success of both parties.
- Monitoring and tracking partner performance alongside the wider partnerships team to guide decisions on where you focus your energy and efforts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
- Team Work: Work collaboratively with the broader team to support in overcoming challenges we hit along the way as we grow and develop.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the cycling industry, including manufacturers, retailers, membership organisations, and travel companies.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.

Essential experience / qualifications
We are looking for a Partnerships Business Development Manager with the following qualities:
- Proven track record in business development and partnerships, ideally within the cycling or related industries.
- Commercial knowledge, comfortable with numbers and forecasting.
- Communication skills, an obvious one, but crucial. You should be articulate, persuasive, and able to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Relationship building, connect with people on a personal and professional level.
- Negotiation skills, you should be comfortable finding the win-win solution.
- Results driven, your partnerships will need to deliver our targets, so a track record of delivering results is essential.
- Strategic thinking, should be able to see the bigger picture and align partnership activities with overall business goals.
Bonus experience / qualifications
- Experience working in the insurance industry.
- A passion for cycling, or knowledge of the industry and different cycling tribes.
- Experience using communications, productivity and sales tools such as Slack, Hive and Pipedrive.

- This role is UK based. We are a hybrid working company but open to considering remote options within the UK. Our office spaces are located in Chester + Innsbruck.
- Ability to be mobile within the UK and Europe for the purpose of business travel including meetings and networking events would be an advantage.
