What will you be doing?
Relate MK is a registered charity and a not for profit organisation. We provide counselling and therapeutic support to individuals, couples, families and young people. Although we charge for our services we have set up a bursary fund which we use to help those people who are unable to pay the full cost. We are looking for new people to join our Board, and we would welcome anyone who can bring fresh ideas, expertise and knowledge in a variety of areas, ranging from: life skills, HR, marketing, media, finance, entrepreneurism, and who are willing to offer a few hours a month to help support the charity and help us to widen our reach and therefore help more people. We meet as a Board 4 times a year, however we also have meetings/conversations throughout the year where we focus on specific issues or topics. Currently we are focusing on strategy and how we can move forward in these ever changing, challenging times.
