What will you be doing?

We would like you to:

Generate new ideas and business opportunities to increase fundraising. Establish ongoing fundraising programmes. Research potential donors and foundations to identify and evaluate potential funding sources. Monitor programmes, track and document all necessary activities.  Complete all reporting requirements according to deadlines.  Create fundraising collaterals required for fundraising including proposals and annual reports. Establish ongoing fundraising programmes. Research different crowdfunding sources. Provide reports and updates to the CEO and/or Trustee Board as needed on income, donors, and fundraising plans Help our organisation reach the fundraising target.

You will work with the centre manager, finance officer and board of trustees. The role description is not set in stone and there is room for flexibility.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for people who have:

A passion for fundraising for small charities Able to work flexibly on your own and as part of a small team with enthusiasm and commitment Good initiative and ability to work with little direct supervision but will ask when help is needed Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a diverse range of individuals, supporters, donors, and volunteers Excellent organisational skills, with experience of proactive planning, managing deadlines and prioritising effectively Good computer skills and a willingness to be contacted via email and/or video chat Ability to write compelling, warm, and engaging copy Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team and organisation. Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements Experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies Experience of writing funding proposals and working in fundraising Experience of successfully motivating and inspiring a range of donors/supporters Open to feedback Knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques, sponsorship, donations, and marketing would be an advantage An ability to present to and engage potential partners/sponsors in a compelling way Maintaining strict confidentiality
