We are looking for an individual keen to give back to their community at a strategic level.  They require excellent team building/team development skills as they take a lead role within our Board. Knowledge of charity sector governance would be beneficial. The Charity needs support and guidance in gaining Corporate sponsorship. Can you provide this? Experience of HR and GDPR/cyber security is welcome.

What difference will you make?

LDVG have a proven track record of positive community impact.  Our Chair, Vice Chair and Trustees are integral to our ongoing success as they steer and guide our strategic direction. We work with over 90 volunteers and have over 350 members who enjoy the benefits of being involved with our organisation.  We offer a wide variety of services and activities, from our daily call line, our lunch clubs, our free handy person service, our various activity groups, to our community transport's shopping services and NHS community car support.  The impact of our work is reflected in the awards we have won or been shortlisted for, and the strong partnerships we have made with our partner organisations. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking team and to contribute to the ongoing success of a local charity making a big difference.
