Volunteer Editorial Manager

What will you be doing?

Content Creation:  - Write and edit newsletters that highlight BeScience activities, achievements, and upcoming events.  - Develop engaging blog posts that reflect our mission, projects, and the impact we’re making in the STEM community.  - Create write-ups that profile and celebrate the contributions of our volunteers, showcasing their stories and experiences. Team Leadership:  - Mentor, and manage a team of volunteer writers and editors.  - Assign writing tasks, provide feedback, and ensure all content aligns with BeScience’s voice and goals.  - Foster a collaborative and creative environment within the editorial team.Content Strategy  - Develop and implement an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and timely content across all platforms.  - Work closely with other departments to align content with overall organizational strategies and campaigns.  - Monitor content performance and adjust strategies to increase engagement and reach.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications:- Proven experience in editorial management, content creation, or a related field.- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Leadership experience with the ability to build and motivate a team.- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems.- Passion for STEM education and commitment to the mission of BeScience.
