What will you be doing?
We are launching our brand new website to help young people and their families affected by mental illness. It is like Booking.com or Netflix with an easy search function, to search for and recommend not hotels or movies but videos, articles, and self help resources. The website will use technology from a grant from the same leading-edge Search and Recommend AI that Netflix uses. The aim is to find the right permutation of resources for anyone person. We are looking for a grant trust fundraiser to help us with this project. It would be great if you could help.
What are we looking for?
Experience as a grant fundraiser and able to tell a compelling story. If you have an interest in helping us start some event fundraising, which will be part of the website that would be great too. But grant fundraising is the main focus.
What difference will you make?
We think we have a great project. The Scottish Tech Army volunteered their time to start it, JP Morgan volunteered their time to produce what we have now and we have completed a project with Edinburgh University to produce an Amazon style searchable website full of resources for young people's mental health. It is 'almost' live but we need your help crafting stories to convince funders that you can have a virtual Youth Centre and use commercial IT to help solve the escalating issue of young people's mental health.
