- Role Summary

- Proactive, solution-oriented, and excellent at communicating with diverse teams and markets.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects.
- Residence in or near New York City.
We are Tony's, a revolutionary company transforming the chocolate industry. We are excited to welcome a new Sourcing Specialist to our team in New York City. As a key player in our US operations team, you'll be instrumental in setting up and accelerating our US manufacturing. You'll collaborate with a global procurement team based in Amsterdam and be part of our transformative journey.
As a Sourcing Specialist, your primary mission is to develop and execute local sourcing strategies for packaging, materials, and inclusions in the US. You'll take charge of building sourcing processes to ensure seamless production, leading the charge on business continuity plans, and driving successful launches of new products in the US market.
Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing processes to enhance production and short-term operational capabilities in the US, spearheading the business continuity plan, expanding and improving our US supply network, leading negotiations, formulating contracts, and coordinating all supplier setup and integration with internal US and global stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated success in implementing sourcing strategies, onboarding new suppliers, and executing all tactical aspects of sourcing. You should have proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or buying within the food industry, ideally in confection. You should be solution-oriented and proactive in communication with stakeholders across diverse teams and markets. Exceptional planning and organizational skills, managing multiple projects effortlessly are a must. You should live either in New York City or in a drivable proximity.
We offer a salary range of $100k - $125k for the position.
