The role: The mission of the Strategic Finance Manager, as our first hire in the Strategic Finance team, is threefold: partner with business leaders to help them make great strategic decisions; ensure Birdie’s resources are deployed for maximum impact; and tell the story of Birdie’s current and future performance. You will partner with the Finance Director in support of capital raises, investor management and long-term strategy. You will also drive Birdie’s global planning and forecasting processes with clear communication and organisation.
Job requirements: You have 4-6 years of finance-related experience, either in a company finance team or in consulting or banking. You take pride in awesome client service (whether internal or external clients) and have great attention to detail. You are expert at financial modelling, but can tell a story and see the big picture. You are curious about business in general - operations, economics, markets etc. - and are keen to gain wide ranging business expertise not limited to a particular function or department.

This role will need to be based in one of the following countries; UK, Spain, Ireland, Germany or France. We organise regular in-person events and online socials to make sure you can meet up with peers. If you want to come to the offices in London or Berlin, you're most welcome of course!
