What will you be doing?
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions to support our mission and organisational objectives. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and best practices. Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and facilitating training sessions. Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, payroll information, and leave records. Coordinate employee benefits programmes, including enrolment, administration, and communication. Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related matters. Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives. Stay updated on HR trends and developments and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Handle other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in HR coordination or administration. Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience working in the non-profit sector or with diverse communities is an asset.
