- Developing and managing rewilding activities in Ireland
- Engaging with stakeholders, including landowners and partners
- Contracting landowners for nature restoration initiatives funded by carbon credits
- Advancing future ecosystem services markets
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in nature-related business
- Strong network and knowledge of Irish organisations and landowners
- Full proficiency in English
- Knowledge of peatland ecology is a plus

Rewilding Climate Solutions is a commercial enterprise working to scale up rewilding across Europe to benefit nature, climate and local communities. We are part of Rewilding Europe, a pan-European initiative operating at the front line of European rewilding. Our long-term vision involves inviting private investors to participate. We are developing nature-based carbon projects across multiple European countries and actively contributing to the development of nature credits.
The role of the Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and further expanding our activities in Ireland. This involves active stakeholder management between landowners, implementation partners and other relevant organisations. The focus of the role will be on finding and contracting landowners that want to use their land for nature restoration, financed by carbon credits and other future ecosystem services markets.
Job requirements include a Master's degree in a relevant discipline, at least five years of professional experience, preferably in nature-related business sector, dealing with landowners, extensive knowledge and a wide network of organisations and landowners within Ireland, full proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking), and basic ecological knowledge and experience in peatland ecology is considered an advantage.
