The Renaissance Foundation is an innovative charity seeking a motivated Volunteer Fundraising Advisor. Role Summary:
- Provide support and guidance to the fundraising team to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Assist in developing and implementing a robust and sustainable fundraising strategy.
- Offer advice on creating effective and transparent fundraising reports.
- Help cultivate relationships with key business and individual supporters.
Role Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in fundraising strategy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of fundraising, especially corporate and philanthropy.
- Understanding of fundraising regulations and governance.
- Prior experience with small or start-up charities is highly beneficial.
- Must be based in/have the right to work in the UK.
What will you be doing?
The role will involve some regular and some more flexible time commitments, providing ad-hoc and project-based support to Renaissance Foundation and presenting to the Board as relevant. This is a volunteer role; candidates must be based in / have a right to work in the UK. This role will:
Provide support and guidance to the fundraising team to maximise fundraising Assist in the development and implementation of a diversified and sustainable fundraising strategy Provide support and advice to develop effective and transparent fundraising reporting Support the CEO and fundraising team to cultivate relationships with businesses and individuals with the capacity to support RF
What are we looking for?
An experienced leader, having a background in Fundraising strategy, with a broad knowledge of all areas of fundraising, particularly corporate and philanthropy supported by a sound understanding of fundraising regulation and governance. Experience of small, start-up charities will be particularly useful.
