As the leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions across the UK, we're searching for seriously talented Business Development Managers - Automotive to join our incredible Sales team.
The role: As our Business Development Manager - Automotive, you'll be part of the Automotive team who are dedicated to ensuring Pod Point is the only EV charging provider that our Partners such as leasing companies or dealership groups will consider when transacting with EV customers. The BDM - Automotive is a field-based / remote role with a lot of your time being spent on site with customers. You'll report to the National Sales Manager and on top of meeting all Partner Lead targets and KPIs you'll be responsible for winning significant new relationships and negotiate contracts with key prospects in the Automotive space.
Job requirements: We reckon this role is perfect for someone who's got a taste of working within the automotive, fleet, leasing and/or dealership industry. Plus, we'd love to see strong commercial experience, a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets, previous experience in developing (from scratch) lasting business relationships, previous experience in the automotive sector, previous experience of managing corporate accounts and fulfilling reporting requirements, previous experience in leading negotiations and sales pitches to decision makers, the ability to quickly learn and talk confidently about a technical product, the ability to bring together a solution and coordinate moving parts to get sales, operations, development, marketing, and finance all working together, strong presentation skills, a good networker, finding a way to reach the right people to open doors, the ability to work well within a fast paced (and exciting!) environment, in-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.
