- Lead an Academy team in competitive league football.

Bloomsbury Football Foundation is an exciting organisation that uses the power of football to improve the lives of over 5,000 children and young people in London per week, regardless of their background or ability to pay. Established as a charity in 2018, we work to support children and young people aged 4 to 18 through the provision of football activities, enabling them to live active lifestyles, and pursue their full potential.
As a Full-time Football Coach, you will lead one of our Academy teams, competing & training at a high level in competitive league football. You will also lead a number of sessions as part of our Schools programme and create and maintain positive relationships with multiple stakeholders (parents, partners and venues). This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the improvement of the programme (quality of coaching, innovative ideas etc). The role is 37.5 hours which would include around 11 hours of off-pitch work.
Job requirements include experience of working in an educational or sporting environment, passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, ability to work in different settings and venues (schools and external venues), and flexibility in working hours, which will include morning, afternoon and weekend work. FA Level 1 Football and FA Level 2 are essential, FA UEFA B is desirable and an enhanced DBS is preferred. The candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK as Bloomsbury Football Foundation does not sponsor visas.
