At Beam, you get to do work that really matters. We’re solving the world’s toughest social problems. And we’re growing fast 🚀
About the role
We’re looking for a Caseworker (or ‘Pathway Coach’) to transform the lives of disadvantaged people by supporting them into stable jobs and homes.
You’ll be joining a team of values-driven and creative Caseworkers while being individually responsible for supporting a caseload of people referred to Beam - our “members”. This role will support our Fareham region caseload and will have a flexible hybrid working pattern between members locations, home and trips to London.
After an immersive training period, you’ll help our members to picture a brighter future before guiding them through concrete steps to achieve their goals.
As a Caseworker at Beam, you will have the opportunity to support people into independence - this could be through securing a stable job, home or by helping them build on critical skills like IT, self-confidence and more. Casework generally involves supporting people into a job or a home - sometimes both! - and you may find yourself transitioning between these two vital roles, all the while leveraging your strengths and building innovative solutions to better support our members every step of the way.
