In the past six years, smol has taken the household cleaning market by storm. We are already the fastest growing and most positively reviewed brand in the laundry, dishwash, fabric conditioner and surface spray categories and we’ve got so much more planned.

In Summary...

We’re looking for someone with knowledge of UX and UI design principles and best practices to enhance our digital presence and customer interactions.

Reporting to our Lead UX/UI Designer you will work closely with our product, creative, growth and tech teams. You will assist in developing and maintaining the smol design system and accessibility guidelines, design responsive Prismic slices and pages, and create interactive prototypes in Figma.

What does the role involve?...

Developing and maintaining the smol design system and accessibility guidelines, ensuring a consistent approach to customer digital interactions across the organization.

Designing new responsive Prismic slices and build Prismic pages.

Creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in Figma to visualize and iterate on design concepts.

Collaborating closely with the development, marketing, creative, growth, and international teams.

Staying current with UX and UI trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design quality and innovation.

Participating in design review sessions, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve designs and skills.

You will need/be...

Passionate about joining a mission-led brand committed to sustainability and inclusivity, eager to contribute to and thrive in a purpose-driven work environment.

Knowledge of UX and UI principles and best practice.

Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision.

Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for design.

Excellent collaboration skills, capable of working with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Applicants must have current work authorisation in the UK.

The role is remote / home working but the team gets together occasionally in London / South West England, so the ability to travel here is a bonus.
