Soil Association Exchange is a new service for all UK farmers to help them farm in a way that improves the climate and protects nature and enhances their profitability. SA Exchange works with farmers to measure the environmental impact and provides advice and financial incentives on how the farm can improve. Soil Association Exchange is a fast-paced, commercial startup that spun out of the Soil Association charity in 2022. Exchange is already working with hundreds of farmers and businesses including M&S, Sainsburys, Lloyds Banking Group and Riverford.
The role of an Exchange Team Leader will be varied and rewarding. As a key member of the team, you will have an impact on the direction the organisation takes. You will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of Exchange on farm as well as the science and operations behind the delivery.
Job requirements include being self-motivated, self-reliant, and capable, having strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally, proven ability to build trust and relationships, practical approach to problems, strong team player, able to manage competing priorities, flexible and adaptable, and having empathy and understanding of the farmers and growers situations.
