Learning and transformation can be quite challenging. As a product designer, your role involves simplifying complex concepts and shaping everything from small-scale interactions to large-scale product solutions that serve thousands of learners.

Our goal is to ensure that education is within reach for everyone, and we are looking for exceptional designers to help us achieve this.

Responsibilities:

  • Work through design problems from start to finish, turning research insights and high-level concepts into ideas that create excellent user experiences.
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative insights to guide design decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to bring products from initial definition to deployment and beyond.
  • Develop experiences that fuel business growth while being globally scalable, locally relevant, inclusive, and equitable for all.
  • Influence design decisions with stakeholders from various departments and advocate for the customer.
  • Manage prioritization and delivery across multiple projects in a strategic Design Lead role.
  • Set a positive example and coach less-experienced designers on best practices for design thinking, elevating the standard of design outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a UX/Product Designer.
  • Experience in designing responsive, accessible web-based experiences.
  • Utilizing, optimizing, and contributing to design systems and UI pattern libraries.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in design, research, and collaboration tools,  (eg: Figma, user testing, confluence, and Jira).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Simplifying complex technical concepts and effectively testing design solutions.
  • Mastery in facilitating design workshops, developing solution frameworks, creating user flows, and building prototypes.
  • Crafting and presenting findings and proposals compellingly to stakeholders.
  • Consider and rationalize the technical difficulty of different designs and find simple ways to test concepts.
  • Experience building new products and conducting user research to inform MVP definition and development.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience working across multiple platforms, including responsive web, mobile, and other digital interfaces.
  • Experience maintaining localized and right-to-left experiences.
  • Experience leading design-thinking workshops.
  • Hybrid skill set across the design capabilities from UX to interaction and visual design.
