The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) is a social purpose company that collaborates with governments, businesses, and charities to address major policy issues through simple yet powerful changes. With 250 staff across 8 countries, BIT has completed over 1000 projects, including 700 randomized controlled trials, to improve lives and communities. Acquired by Nesta in 2021, BIT continues to share expertise and build capacity in applying behavioural science for social good.
This newly created role is in BIT’s Data team, reporting to the Head of Data Visualisation to support the day-to-day business running of Power BI and the improvement of efficiencies in the business. You will play a crucial role in monitoring data quality, correcting data issues, and supporting the finance team with month-end reporting.
Key responsibilities include: Data Quality and Maintenance, Data Integration and Visualization, Ad-Hoc Data Requests, Support Finance Team, and Stakeholder Engagement.
Skills and Experience required: Data Analysis, Process Improvement, Communication, Time Management, Teamwork.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline. 1-3 years of experience in a data analyst role, focusing on using Power BI (with both M-Query and DAX) for data visualization and analysis.
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have: Experience working with overseas subsidiaries. Experience in professional services or consultancy businesses.
