Our Service Operations Division is responsible for the large-scale delivery of all Teach First’s Events. We deliver high-quality events to support the recruitment and delivery of our programmes, helping us to support our fundraising targets, and support our Networks and staff training events.
As an Events Officer, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience across a suite of online and in-person events and activities at national and local level. We are recruiting for fixed-term and permanent Event Officers. This particular role is a fixed-term contract.
The role requires valuable experience in planning and executing events, contributing to their successful delivery. An understanding of project management principles which supports effective event coordination and contributes to the successful execution of tasks within established timelines is essential. The ability to effectively manage relationships, aiding in the cultivation and maintenance of positive connections with stakeholders and collaborators is also required. A background in events, which ensures a positive and attendee-focused approach, enhancing satisfaction and communication is necessary. Skills that contribute to effective participant engagement and communication strategies, enhancing overall event success are also needed. Prior experience in using CRM and completing event management tasks, contributing to accurate record keeping is also a requirement.
