What will you be doing?

Blue Patch is a social enterprise currently in the process of transitioning to a charity. This has prompted revisiting its strategy with a view to refocusing on the core value it brings to its creative small business community to empower them to thrive sustainably, particularly through education and community. A small working group of trustees and volunteers has worked with CEO Jane Langley to revisit Blue Patch's vision, mission and strategic objectives and we now need to develop a more detailed plan.  Owners have already been identified to develop the operations, people & organisation, marcomms and fundraising elements of the plan and Jane now needs to identify someone who can support with the financial plan.  Blue Patch has a bookkeeper for a few hours a week who would be able to talk to the "keep the lights on" numbers and then it will be a case of working with the small working group to build financials aligned with the rest of the plan.  A great way to get exposure to building the full budget/3YP P&L for a non-profit at this important stage in creating the new charity we'd really appreciate help from an experienced financial planning professional. Thank you.

What are we looking for?

Budget planning and analysis. Forecast revenue and set goals, help set budget timelines, estimate expenses, review and be open to flexibility as funding streams change. Adhere to compliance and reporting standards and enjoy working with a team and the creative small business sector. intended timing: 16th July - trustees have approved the high level strategy 18th July - kick-off meeting for the detailed plan - prioritising Operations, People & organisation, Marcomms ahead of getting started on financials ~18th August - targeting a first draft of all elements of the plan ~6th September - final drafts ~11th September - steering group review ~13th September - pre-read to trustees

What difference will you make?
