We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at ZOE. The Creative Director is responsible for ensuring that all creative requirements are delivered on brand, on brief, on time, and within budget to create impact and support the growth of ZOE in UK and US. The individual should have experience building consumer brands and leading a creative studios of internal and external teams/agencies. The Head of Creative will manage the day-to-day of the creative team, own processes, support prioritisation decisions with stakeholders, align on timelines and generally make sure the team has what they need to do their best work. This role will suit a proactive, determined individual who can effortlessly balance competing priorities in a high paced environment.

You will...

Creative Guidance

Oversight of output (brand / content / campaigns) providing creative input on the actual content itself, offering key insights into what is developed and how. Serves as a backstop to agencies or new team members to ensure they understand brand Ensures coherence with all content, branding and messaging aligning to the campaign's mission and objectives. Drives creative excellence and ensures high quality of creative assets

Process Design and Process Management

Monitoring, reviewing and filtering all creative briefs, ensuring they are clear and thorough Design and operationalise the process for each major creative format (varied based format type) and differentiated according to scope of concept: new vs iteration Track project timelines and deliverables to ensure on time and to standard Monitoring throughput of creative work whether delivered through internal or external resource against overarching content strategy

Operational Mindset and Measurement

Informed by a continuous improvement process to balance demand with supply across skillsets and commercial needs. Proactively surfacing emerging (or future) supply/demand imbalances with ideas on how to mitigate. Enable prioritisation discussions on a regular cadence. Keep an eye on key metrics, ensuring that output is hitting the intended marks needed for success. Budget management and financial optimising.

People and Organisational Leadership

Planning and monitoring resource to workflow, booking in freelancers and agency support where necessary, liaising with Heads of Teams to escalate any concerns Motivate, coach and develop team members across sub-disciplines Seamlessly leverage internal teams, freelancers, or agencies, effectively managing relationships of all forms. Clarify priorities and ensure all team members are aligned to these at all times. Proactively identify opportunities to resource through team organisation recognize skill or capacity gaps

Skills include:

Prior experience in a similar role Great organisation skills, methodical approach and meticulous eye for detail A self-starter with a positive ‘can do’ attitude Confident liaising with stakeholders, making decisions where necessary and escalating problems or project blockers A love for solving problems and dealing with challenges and changes Collaborative and happy to work with a mix of roles and people Confident negotiator, or an appetite to learn Understanding of design specifications Familiarity with design through a remote based environment co-working design and presentation tools including Figma, Slack, Loom Experience of using software to support asset management and project management An existing network of freelancers/agencies/production partners would be beneficial
