Role Summary:Curate and contract a diverse portfolio of hotels and villas in APAC and the UK.Lead commercial negotiations and oversee the launch of new properties into the collection.Collaborate with the onboarding team to meet launch deadlines and prioritize properties based on commercial value.
Role Requirements:At least 5 years of senior-level negotiation and hotel-contracting experience in boutique or luxury travel.Strong commercial acumen and an analytical mindset.Established network within the boutique or luxury hotel industry.Regular travel to meet with industry contacts and achieve monthly targets.
Additional Requirements:Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Drive, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Asana, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.Ability to travel 3-4 times per quarter.Valid driving license and the capacity to drive both domestically and internationally.Fluency in a second language is preferred.A deep-seated passion for boutique hotels and a commitment to the company's core values.
Mr & Mrs Smith is a dynamic company that is looking for a Hotel & Villa Curator. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is focused on the growth of our collection.
The role entails the curation and contracting of a portfolio of hotels and villas in APAC & the UK. The Hotel & Villa Curator will be responsible for sourcing multiple properties in different destinations, leading commercial discussions and launching hotels and villas within the Mr & Mrs Smith collection. The role also involves working closely with our onboarding team to ensure that we meet deadlines, hit our targets and prioritize hotel and villa launches based on commercial importance.
Job requirements include a high level of commercial acumen, an analytical and commercial mindset, and at least five years of experience in senior-level negotiation and hotel-contracting experience, preferably within boutique or luxury travel. An established network of boutique or luxury hoteliers and industry contacts is also required. The ability to travel regularly to meet monthly expectations and targets is a must.
