Role Summary:

  • Drive the creative direction & execution of Work.Life’s brand across all visual communications.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support commercial functions with top-tier graphic & visual design assets.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment with company values across all customer touchpoints.
  • Handle design requests from the wider business, maintaining high standards and timely delivery.

Role Requirements:

  • Demonstrated accountability and the ability to anticipate and overcome obstacles proactively.

  • High emotional intelligence to positively influence and communicate with others.
  • Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience with project management platforms and creating design assets for both online and offline channels.
  • Basic animation/motion design skills are a bonus but not mandatory.
  • Originality in translating brand identity through visual touchpoints.

Your Role

You'll be responsible for delivering the creative direction & execution of the Work.Life brand across all visual communications, in partnership with colleagues in the Marketing team.

Primarily supporting the commercial and marketing function of the business with market-leading graphic & visual design assets to deliver against strategic goals. You will deliver quality design that speaks to our audience and reflects the company’s values, mission and Brand DNA while ensuring consistency across all touch points.

As the sole in-house designer, you'll also be responsible supporting the wider business with design requests.

Key priorities for your first few months

Design assets delivered to a high standard and on time

Consistent brand messaging and design aesthetic across all brand touchpoints

Impact on our brand KPIs through contribution towards brand campaigns, and brand guardianship of all customer facing collateral.

Your Day to Day Responsibilities

·Take a lead design role, executing the work yourself, for the brand across all channels including Social, Display, Email, Print, Merchandise and Outdoor. The list is not exhaustive, and the marketing mix is likely to expand over time. 

·Working closely with the marketing team on the production of creative campaigns from conception through to media delivery.

·Manage internal design requests, taking briefs, communicating delivery timelines and delivering design assets

·Keep relevant touchpoints up to date (Canva, Sharepoint) to enable the wider team to create great design for their spaces and functions

·Work with the senior brand marketing manager to manage and partner with relevant external creatives/agencies to deliver agreed campaign assets

Technical Skills: You’ll have advanced Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills & experience with project management platforms (Asana, ClickUp, Motion etc.); proven experience creating design assets for online & offline channels (including large format OOH) and an ability to liaise with media owners on making sure our creative looks as strong as possible in the "wild". Ideally, you’ll have basic animation / motion design skills, but this is not mandatory.

Creativity: You’ll have a great ability to translate the brand identity across visual touchpoints in creative, unique ways. Always elevating the brand to creative a connection with our audience.

The interview process will consist of an initial short zoom screening call with our Head of People, to find out more about the role; followed by two face to face stages in one of our gorgeous coworking spaces.
