Role Summary:

  • Direct and manage our Amazon business across the U.S., U.K., and Germany.
  • Strategically expand our presence into new global marketplaces.
  • Develop a trading calendar and coordinate with various teams to optimize product listings and logistics.
  • Execute growth strategies and monitor performance through weekly KPI reporting.
  • Research and integrate new marketplace opportunities, managing relationships and performance post-launch.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Amazon account management.
  • Proven success in expanding retail brands into third-party marketplaces.
  • Expertise in driving revenue growth through paid and organic marketplace strategies.
  • Proficient in conversion rate optimization within marketplace environments.
  • Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, logistics, and marketing.

THE WHY

We are looking for a Head of Marketplace to own the day-to-day management of our Amazon business in the U.S, U.K & Germany, and to lead on expanding our footprint to new marketplaces globally.

WHERE YOU’LL PLAY

Amazon


  • -Build the trading calendar for Amazon stores in the U.S, U.K & Germany.
  • -Work with merchandising to define the regional assortments.
  • -Work with logistics to manage regular replenishment shipments.
  • -Catalogue management & optimisation within seller central.
  • -CRO including optimising PDP content + working with repricing tool to ensure a competitive buy box share.
  • -Weekly reporting on core KPIs to wider commercial team.
  • -Work with our in house paid media team to define and execute our paid media strategy.
  • -Monthly P&L review to ensure amazon hit’s contribution targets.
  • -Assist with forecasting and building of long-term growth strategy.
  • -Be the main POC within the business for anything Amazon related.

New Marketplaces [Zalando, Decathlon etc]


  • -Research & scope potential new marketplaces
  • -Work with ecommerce director to agree commercial contracts.
  • -Manage integration process between new marketplaces and vivo tech team.
  • -Account management, trading & reporting once live.

ALL ABOUT YOU


  • 5+ Years of Amazon account management.
  • Experience setting up and growing 3rd party marketplaces for retail brands.
  • Track record delivering Amazon revenue growth through paid and organic strategies.
  • Clear understanding of conversion rate optimisation within a marketplace context.
  • Comfortable working with multiple different business functions to deliver what is needed for marketplaces [merchandising, logistics, marketing].
