- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, including leading the creation of core principles and embedding the framework across the organisation.
- Create and enforce data usage policies and guidelines, and ensure awareness and compliance among our people.
- Establish processes for applying and enforcing data principles and policies, create systematic procedures for implementation, and set up enforcement mechanisms.
- Assign and manage data ownership roles and work closely with owners to ensure good data stewardship.
- Collaborate with data architects to ensure proper documentation of data location, lineage, and relationships.
- Define and make visible data quality metrics, and ensure these metrics are accessible to all data consumers.
- Promote ongoing enhancement of governance practices, align with industry best practices, and regularly review and update the framework and policies.
- Collaborate on data sharing policies with Virgin companies and demonstrate Virgin Red's trustworthiness as a data partner to third parties.
What you’ll need
- Relevant technical and data governance certifications (e.g., CDMP)
