What will you be doing?

About Us:BPUR International is an NGO advocating for an international treaty to ban the political Abuse of religion. We aim to promote peace, justice, and human rights through legislative reform.  Join BPUR International as a Finance Manager, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the fiscal health of our organisation. As a part-time member of our team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily financial activities, developing key financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with a background in NGO finance who is eager to contribute to a mission-driven startup focused on advocating for legislative change. Key Responsibilities

Financial Management: Handle the day-to-day financial transactions, including monitoring accounts, processing payments, and managing cash flow to align with BPUR’s policies and ethical principles. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports for the leadership team, ensuring transparency and insight into the organisation’s financial position. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions, budget planning, and resource allocation, helping the organisation make informed choices in line with its goals. Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with regulatory standards and non-profit financial guidelines, maintaining BPUR’s commitment to accountability and integrity.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably within an NGO or non-profit organisation. Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including compliance standards relevant to NGOs. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
