Join BPUR International as a Finance Manager, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the fiscal health of our organisation. As a part-time member of our team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily financial activities, developing key financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with a background in NGO finance who is eager to contribute to a mission-driven startup focused on advocating for legislative change. Key Responsibilities
Financial Management: Handle the day-to-day financial transactions, including monitoring accounts, processing payments, and managing cash flow to align with BPUR’s policies and ethical principles. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports for the leadership team, ensuring transparency and insight into the organisation’s financial position. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions, budget planning, and resource allocation, helping the organisation make informed choices in line with its goals. Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with regulatory standards and non-profit financial guidelines, maintaining BPUR’s commitment to accountability and integrity.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably within an NGO or non-profit organisation. Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including compliance standards relevant to NGOs. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
