R&D Platform Manager

And that’s why we are looking for a R&D Platform Manager! To join the Good Rebels team and help us achieve our mission through delivering products with superior UX and nutritional values and deploy new technologies for competitive advantage.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• 
  
• Manage in full autonomy a complex portfolio of R&D projects in all its phases from initial prototyping through to execution to the market.
  
• Translate insights into actionable technical briefs in partnership with marketing and sales teams, based on solid consumer foundation and customer needs.
  
• Collaborate with R&D Team members and partner functions to design, develop and execute new winning products, processes and packages,
  
• Represent, advocate and influence on behalf of R&D in cross-functional Project meetings internally and externally and ensure alignment on project deliverables, actions standards and timing.
  
• Complete proper Knowledge Management throughout the project lifecycle at the appropriate stages and maintain all product development records for intellectual property protection.
  
• Leverage internal and external networks to progress projects.
  
• Provide insight into the pipeline development via a thorough understanding of the consumer, ingredients and process functionality.
  
• Process & nutritional support across the organization.
  
• Budget & resources management.
  
• Guide and support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle while fostering career development and enhancing employee engagement.
  
• Serve as a versatile leader, demonstrating the ability to pivot between strategic leadership, operational execution, and hands-on problem-solving as needed. Embrace polarity by balancing short-term revenue goals with long-term strategic objectives.

• BSc or MSc in a relevant scientific discipline, Food Science, Food Engineering or similar

  
  

• Broad and diverse industry & technical knowledge, evidence of adopting fast to new environments and learning new technologies

  
  

• 10+years experience working in Food Product development and commercialisation, on the food industry side , understanding industry dynamics and needs.

  
  

• Experience working with external manufacturers and partners.

  
  

• Great interpersonal and influencing skills.

  
  

• An analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving mindset to approach everyday challenges.

  
  

• Ability to prioritize and anticipate opportunities

  
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

  
  

• Ability to create strong and trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
