Are you super-smart, data-driven, technically brilliant, strategic, very ambitious and obsessed with email marketing? Would you like to join a fast-growing, independent, women-led health and wellness brand based in Brighton, where you and this role would be absolutely pivotal to our success? Where email marketing is the Founder/CEO’s favourite channel? Not just a channel that’s in a wider marketing mix and overshadowed by the paid search or social teams, but THE channel we care about the most and makes a huge difference to our sales and profitability? Do you feel you have much more to give and feel a bit un-seen? Are you ready to show what you’re really capable of? Have we said enough? Read on…

If you tick all of these boxes, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Data-driven for real: Everyone says they’re data-driven in interviews, but you have to be properly data-driven. Numerate, inquisitive and able to draw insights, so when you’re asked by the CEO what emails have worked, haven’t worked, or what isn’t performing - you have a very robust, data-backed answer.
  • Technically minded: Not just able to use Klaviyo, Salesforce or all the other tools around. You’re seriously s**t-hot to the point where we’d call you a whizz. You can construct flows and AB tests in your sleep.
  • Hyper-organized: You can plan your time by yourself to make sure you get everything done, and done well, by the agreed-upon deadlines. We always agree on reasonable deadlines and generally plan everything, but sometimes, last-minute things come in, and you need to be able to handle that.
  • Obsessed with detail: You hate typos and mistakes in anything, especially customer-facing comms. You feel terrible and embarrassed if your line manager picks up a mistake you missed. You feel even worse if the CEO finds a mistake. You make sure everything you prepare for sign-off is scrupulously perfect.
  • In love with email marketing: You subscribe to lots of newsletters about, well, newsletters! You notice great subject lines. You appreciate a beautifully constructed flow. You like to talk about newsletters at dinner parties. You’re a bit odd. We like odd.
  • Not sensitive to feedback. In the early days, in particular, your work will be scrutinised, opined upon, and sometimes picked apart. As we said, it’s our most important channel, and it’s customer-facing, so you welcome direction to make the work, and you brilliant.
  • A growth mindset: A fancy way of saying you’re always learning. You understand that nothing is static, and everything develops and changes. You want to be seen as THE expert on email marketing and CRM. You don’t ever want to be behind. You want to be ahead.
  • Customer-centric: You know the customer, you understand the audience, and you get that people are overwhelmed and bombarded all day with messages and marketing. You can cut through all of that with brilliant insight.

Our story

You’ll get a lot from looking at our website and Instagram. But, in summary, we’re a team of (90%) women, led by a female founder, and we’ve been around since 2013. We were doing luxury, high-quality health supplements way before the market exploded. We’re famous for the best omega-3, and we also have insanely good collagen (the belle du jour) and vitamin D. We’re all about women’s health, so if that’s not your thing, you’d probably struggle to fit in. We don’t have investors. We don’t plan to sell. We have huge dreams, and we’re going places. We’re stocked in the likes of Selfridges, Whole Foods and Planet Organic, but our core business is D2C. That’s because we love having a relationship with our customers (that’s where you come in).

What we offer you

  • This is a unique opportunity to learn quickly in an environment that will support you while giving you the freedom to shape your role and your career development, while shaping the future of the business as part of the team. Your success is our success. We’ll give you development opportunities to learn and get promoted.
  • You can work from home up to 3 days a week. The other 2 days will be spent in our office in the lovely South Laines area of Brighton. Outside of that, you can use the office as much (or as little) as you like.
  • Your core office hours would be 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
  • We run a discretionary bonus scheme. We reward people for their hard work, performance and contribution to business growth.
  • You’ll get 20 days of holiday and 8 bank holiday days. We also give you your birthday off and we close between Christmas and New Year.
  • We’ll contribute 3% to your pension.
  • We want you to reap the benefits of our products, so you’ll get free products for personal use.
  • The chance to work with an awesome, hard-working team that wants to enjoy work and each other's company. Mental health and work-life balance are taken as seriously as they should be. We’re a young group, very sociable (lots of opportunities to socialise plus fab summer and Christmas parties), and we genuinely care about each other.
