Xpo Fairs is an online platform that is revolutionizing trade shows to make them faster, cheaper, easier, better. Whether Exhibitors are looking to generate leads or a Visitor looking for the latest innovations, anyone can network with their industry peers, Xpo Fairs is bringing the traditional trade show into the 21st century!

This is a full-time on-site role in Wimbledon, London for an Event Director with a salary of £80k.

The Event Director role has two parts, the first part is operational, involving being responsible for coordinating and executing Events on our platform. This will include

  • Being accountable for the planning overall performance of the trade shows.
  • Liaising with clients, offering support, and ensuring exhibitors meet all requirements for participation in Events.
  • Work together with the commercial team to ensure the event runs smoothly.
  • Manage the onboarding of exhibitors
  • Manage stand approval process.

The second part of the role involves advertising, marketing and growth. This includes

  • Establishing relationships with key players in the event industry i.e. Magazines, associations, guilds etc.
  • Managing and outlining advertising campaigns for each event.
  • Identifying opportunities to innovate the shows.

They would be working with a wider team to ensure everything is executed around the event from start to finish, managing multiple trade shows at once.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's or Master's degree, 1st.

·       Consistent top level-grades, A- levels or equivalent 

·       A cover letter.

·       Experience in a leadership role or events environment.

·       Strong understanding of SMEs.

·       Strong analytical skills.

·       Experience in organising corporate events of trade shows or logistics and operations experience.
