Role Summary:

  • Track and analyze performance metrics for travel packages, such as bookings, margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify, assess, and act on risks and opportunities.
  • Use data and market insights to inform decisions and enhance trip performance.
  • Communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders to influence product strategy and development.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing a product portfolio and improving KPIs.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with familiarity in tools like LightDash and Looker Studio; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Results-oriented with a strategic and operational mindset.
  • Experienced in project management and continuous improvement practices.

  • Initial 30-minute introductory chat with the talent team.
  • In-depth 45-minute interview with the hiring manager.
  • 60-minute case study and presentation to assess problem-solving skills.
  • A final 30-minute interview to ensure alignment with company culture.

Salary range: £65,000 - £71,000, based on experience.

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Product Manager to join our team - this is a new role in our team reporting to the VP of Commercial Product.

You’ll be responsible for enabling high performance of our trips by leveraging external market insights and internal insights by working cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities, validate hypotheses and deliver performance-boosting initiatives across a portfolio of trips.

In line with our salary framework, the salary banding for this role is £65,000 - £71,000 (dependent on experience).

Where you will spend your time:


  • Pro-actively tracking and analysing key performance metrics such as bookings, trip-fill, margin and NPS across your assigned trips identifying and prioritising performance optimisation opportunities


  • Collaborating closely with internal teams such as Pricing, Growth and Demand, DMC (Destination Management Companies) to validate hypotheses and implement solutions to reduce risk and optimise performance


  • Conducting root cause analysis to understand under-performing trips using a combination of internal data as well as external market and competitor insights


  • Using historical data and other available information to forecast the required supply for trips on an ongoing basis


  • Working closely with teams such as Growth and Demand and the DMC team to refine forecasts to support the securing of supply from our DMCs


  • Identifying and reporting on the relevant trends to support and input into our longer term product strategy and new product development


  • Maintaining transparent and consistent communication with your stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

What we’d love to see from you:


  • You’ve got demonstrable experience in working with a portfolio of products, overseeing their performance across a range of KPIs


  • You’re highly proficient in data analysis and can use analytical tools to support commercial decision making and performance improvement (we currently use LightDash and Looker Studio and if you know SQL, bonus point!)


  • You’re a strong critical thinker and have the ability to analyse, investigate, question assumptions and problem solve to make informed decisions - you aren’t afraid to question the status quo


  • You excel at stakeholder management and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure you can make well-rounded decision making. You’re able to influence and get buy in from a range of different stakeholders (up to C-Suite) knowing how to flex your approach where needed


  • Results driven - Proven ability to take ownership and drive results, completing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment


  • You’re comfortable operating both strategically and operationally and are happy to flex between this - you’ll be responsible for maintaining a broad perspective on trip performance whilst also deep diving into the specific factors that influence performance


  • You’re a pro at project management and can confidently oversee multiple projects, showcasing data led prioritisation and delivering on time within budget


  • Continuous improvement is your thing! You’ve an huge desire to stay updated with the latest market, competitor and customer trends and are comfortable adapting to changing tools, methodologies and market conditions

  • An interview with the hiring manager to hear more about your background and experience and to give you a deep dive into the role (45 mins)


  • A case study and presentation with the hiring manager and a key stakeholder to see how you’d solve a problem (60 mins) - 


  • A culture and ways of working interview to see if your ways of working are a match with ours (30 mins)


Some roles may have extra stages, but we will let you know as soon as possible in the process if this is the case.
