About The Slow Cyclist
The Slow Cyclist was founded in 2014 to create extraordinary small group e-bike and walking adventures for the culturally curious. with a passion for sharing authentic travel experiences. We curate small-group e-bike and walking adventures in Europe and Africa, focusing on regions often overlooked by other tour operators. - Unique Experiences
Travel is so often commoditised and unimaginative. We are the antidote, taking time to create beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind experiences to less explored regions.
- Dedication to Excellence
Our journeys are designed with passion, flair and innovation. We seek continual improvement, always offering the very best experience we can.
- Human Connections
We cherish personal relationships and friendships and seek to strengthen cross-cultural bonds. Something about EI (emotional intelligence?)
- Supporting / Impacting Our Community
We respect and support those who enter our orbit, whether as guests, team members in the UK or abroad or communities whose lives we touch. All must feel our impact is positive.
- The Future of the Planet
We travel with a light footprint but we can always do more. We must act responsibly in business and in tourism so that we can be part of a movement to restore Earth’s biodiversity and ecosystems.
