We’re looking for an ambitious and technically accomplished producer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for running motion projects from kick-off to delivery, acting as the main point of contact for our clients and being the liaison between external stakeholders and our internal team. Your job will be to lead the project team in producing quality work that delivers maximum impact for our clients.

This role offers lots of opportunities to make a difference within a small creative studio. You’ll have access to both founders, as well as a talented team of producers, designers and animators. As our Producer, you’ll be in a key position to shape the development of client briefs, our creative response and overall project outcomes. You will be the person the project team comes to for solutions - and you’ll be supported in your endeavours by our experienced Head of Production and Office & Project Manager.

Salary range for this role is £40-50k per year, dependent on experience.

We’re a motion design studio working with direct-to-brand and creative agency clients to produce all sorts of motion and animation projects including brand packages, promos and advertising campaigns.

About the role

There’s bags of potential for someone looking to play a big part in our small team. The main objective of this role is to manage projects through the production lifecycle with a focus on delivering the highest quality work.

Experience managing multiple creative projects with complex deliverables and various stakeholders simultaneously is essential. The role will require the ability to think on your feet and juggle changing priorities and project scopes.

Role requirements:

  • Proven right to work in the UK.
  • Living within commuting distance to Brighton (or plans to relocate). Having in-person interaction is something we value and believe positively impacts our performance as a team. We will not be accepting applications for fully remote workers but we support a hybrid working set-up with the option to work 2 days per week from home.
  • Experience working in a producer or project manager role on video, digital or creative projects. Please note that this is not an entry-level role. We expect someone to be able to manage projects relatively self-sufficiently.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects from verbal green light through to delivery, acting as the liaison between all project stakeholders and our internal team.
  • Taking clients on a clear journey through our process, managing expectations, approvals and feedback.
  • Developing client relationships, supporting with ongoing account management and keeping CRM records up to date.
  • Running client meetings with clear agendas.
  • Designing efficient workflows and managing the creative team’s time on projects, balancing project delivery needs with the studio’s overall requirements and priorities.
  • Managing project budgets, expenses and invoicing; tracking and reporting on project profitability.
  • Managing all project paperwork and administration including onboarding and contracts.
  • Reacting to project developments including changing scope and timelines.
  • Working with the creative team to come up with innovative solutions that meet the brief and push the boundaries of our work.
  • Understanding project requirements and desired outcomes to help deliver quality work to best achieve these, monitoring our part in the results to demonstrate our impact.

Skills and qualities for success:

  • Can-do attitude: Offering creative solutions and collaborating with the project team to design the best way forward.
  • Clear communicator: Able to identify and extract key information and present information clearly. Confident in running meetings and engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Adaptable: Adept at shifting between various tasks and projects with an ability to adapt to changing priorities and project scopes.
  • Detail-oriented: Great attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture and overall project brief.
  • Proactive: Interest in optimising workflows and continuous improvement.
  • Technical: Comfortable using a range of software and tools, and able to pick up new programmes easily. Familiarity with AI tools would be beneficial.
  • Organised: Comfortable managing priorities and assessing risks to ensure we deliver to agreed milestones.
