Male Counselor

ISSOS is looking for a Male Counselor to join our team. We are an international summer school that provides a balanced summer program of academia, fun and culture for 13–18 year olds from over 80 nationalities, at the University of St Andrews, Cambridge and Yale.

The role: Counselors at ISSOS work as a team to look after the welfare of all 160 students on campus. They also help to organise and run the sporting activities, local trips and our varied evening programme. Counselors are responsible for injecting the fun into ISSOS, as well as being a mentor and friend to the students.

Job requirements: Previous experience working with young people (minimum 2 years) is essential. Interests in sport, music, theatre, dance and other hobbies would be advantageous. You must be fluent in English.

Benefits: Staff members receive reimbursement after the session. Travel reimbursements and any finders’ fees are paid separately. We provide accommodation in all locations for all staff. Meals are provided in the halls of residence once students arrive, however, staff are responsible for their meals during Orientation.
