• Lead and shape a programme of work that aligns with Virgin Red’s strategy and key initiatives.
• Own programme delivery, reporting to senior leadership and driving accountability.
• Craft and communicate a compelling narrative on the programme’s impact and value.
• Establish strong governance, building trusted partnerships internally and externally.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies while keeping plans on track.
• Lead cross-functional teams across technical, commercial, brand, and operational areas.
• Oversee programme finances and resources to maximise efficiency and impact.

What you’ll need

• A proven track record of managing large, complex programmes.
• Strong digital programme delivery experience, across web, mobile, system integrations, and analytics - making digital transformation look effortless.
• Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams with ability to empower and deliver results in complex, dynamic environments.
• Experience leading teams to deliver consumer-facing products and features.
• Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies, and the ability to switch gears seamlessly to keep projects flying forward with precision and flair.
• Confidence managing budgets, resources, and risks across multiple projects, with an eye for efficient resource utilisation.
• The ability to build and nurture relationships across senior leadership, external partners, and internal teams - influencing like a pro and driving outcomes.
• Adaptable, turning challenges into opportunities and keeping teams motivated even when the pressure's on.
• The ability to see the big picture, developing long-term strategies that align programme goals with broader business objectives.
• APMP, PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile qualifications are desirable but not essential.

The extra details

Role type: Permanent
Location: London hub (at least once per month and additionally as business needs require, recognising the importance of in-person collaboration and relationship building) & your home space
Salary: £80,275 to £88,725 plus bonus - We're putting our salaries out there for everyone to see - no smoke and mirrors, just honest numbers. We'll offer a salary that matches your skills, always aiming for room to grow.
