The Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to join our dynamic team. While frontend expertise is a must, we’d love for you to be comfortable working across the stack when needed.

You’ll play a key role in designing and developing a seamless, high-performance web experience for our users, while also contributing to backend development, API integrations, and architecture decisions. This is not just another engineering role—you will be joining at a foundational stage where your technical decisions, innovation, and execution will directly impact our product and business. 

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of a high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web application using Next.js (React).

• Build and maintain a scalable backend using Node.js, ensure seamless API integrations and optimize data flow and system performance.

• Optimize the frontend for speed, responsiveness, and seamless user experience across devices.

• Ensure high code quality with best practices, performance optimizations, and clean architecture.

• Take ownership of the technical roadmap, suggest improvements, and drive innovation.

• Proactively identify UI/UX improvements and work with designers to refine user interactions.

• Contribute to architectural discussions and bring new ideas to enhance the product.

• Continuously explore and implement cutting-edge technologies.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Next.js (React), JavaScript, TypeScript

• Backend: AWS Lambda, Node.js, MongoDB

• Infrastructure: AWS (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB)

• Testing: Jest, Cypress (or similar testing frameworks) 

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a strong focus in frontend development, building and scaling web applications

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, ReactJS (or equivalent framework with willingness to switch), and modern frontend development practices

• Experience working with full stack development, including backend architecture, APIs and database management

• Experience working in a fast-moving early-stage startup environment (or similar high-growth setting) • Proven ability to build complex, scalable, and high performance UIs from scratch.

• Strong knowledge of state management, component-based architecture, and performance optimization techniques.

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and frontend/backend integration.

• Understanding of cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred) and working with serverless backends.

• Self-starter mindset—you take ownership, find solutions, and drive execution without waiting for instructions.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote-first, fast-paced team.

• Passionate about shaping an early-stage product and bringing innovative ideas to life.
