Role Summary

  • Support sales team with call preparation, sales reporting, proposal writing, and CRM administration.
  • Contribute to strategic commercial initiatives and business development.
  • Provide direct support to the CEO, manage commercial elements of CEO's communications.
  • Assist with client onboarding, manage low-risk contracts and NDAs, and track client satisfaction metrics.
  • Help in building partnerships with clients.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to commercial activities.

Role Requirement

  • 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced sales, commercial support or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in GoogleSuite and CRM systems (HubSpot) is advantageous.

  • Keen on building relationships with diverse group of people.

Application Process Details

The role and its responsibilities

The exact role definition will be dependent on the desire, capability and experiences of the right person. Key responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Sales and Commercial Support: Provide comprehensive support to the sales team, including call preparation, sales qualification, sales reporting, proposal writing, operations and CRM administration (via HubSpot) . 

  • Support with strategic commercial initiatives and projects

  • Conduct company research and contribute to business development initiatives. Collaborate with team members to gather insights and craft proposals customised to align with client needs

  • Direct CEO Collaboration and Support: Act as a personal sounding board for the CEO. Manage the commercial elements of the CEO's diary and communications, including email. 

  • Client Management: Assist with client onboarding, feedback processes, and managing low-risk contracts and NDAs

  • Opportunity to support in building and maintaining partnerships with current and potential clients

  • Proactively track client satisfaction metrics

  • Administrative support relating to commercial activities: Organise and prepare documents ahead of meetings, manage internal communications such as agenda creation, follow up actions and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed and required. Additional responsibilities might include: coordinating internal team events, such as workshops or team-building activities

To be successful in this role you would need the following attributes: 

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced sales, commercial support or similar role.

  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management abilities. Proficiency in GoogleSuite and CRM systems (HubSpot) would be advantageous.

  • Attributes: Highly motivated, ambitious, commercially driven, proactive, with a "can-do" attitude.

  • Mindset: Growth mindset, adaptable, embraces challenges, and aligned with our company values.

  • Communication: Confident and articulate, able to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

You are a team player - you like a laugh, but are not afraid to graft. You are a student of sustainability, have plenty to offer, and know you have even more to learn.

You are action-oriented, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy juggling multiple projects and priorities and enjoy just the right amount of time pressure to help keep productive and focused. You are a ‘people person’ with a knack for building relationships with a diverse group of people.

In your first 3 months you will:

  • Be introduced to your guide and mentor

  • Go through our onboarding programme with training across all our sustainability services

  • Join our fortnightly Personal Growth sessions and Friday lunch-and-learns on anything and everything to do with Impact

  • Get to know our CEO and many of our key clients very well

Location

You will be within commuting distance of our London office (Spitalfields Market) and able to be in the office at least 2 days per week.

Working hours 

We believe in flexible working hours to better suit our personal lives while being considerate of each other and our clients. We generally work office hours but trust each other to make fair decisions.
