Have you thought about volunteering on a Charity Board? We could have the answer. Community Impact Bucks is seeking to recruit committed and dynamic new Trustees to join their Board. Who are we? At Community Impact Bucks we are passionate about helping people to get involved and make a difference in their communities. For more than 45 years we have a positive impact on a multitude of people and causes across Buckinghamshire – as a key cornerstone charity we help other charities, volunteers and community groups to thrive by finding funding; inspiring people to volunteer; running projects; building strong communities; and helping strengthen leadership throughout the voluntary sector. Our vision, mission and strategic goals are highlighted on our website, along with stories and case studies of the difference we make. The Role Our new Trustees will bring specific expertise to complement the current skillset of the board. Part of the role of Community Impact Bucks is to provide support and development for rural communities through the Rural Community Council. You will have knowledge and experience of the issues that rural communities face, for example issues of housing, infrastructure such as transport and digital connectivity, the impact of climate change on our landscape and environment and, in particular, how these issues affect rural communities in Buckinghamshire. You will be able to assist Community Impact Bucks in developing and sustaining an effective Rural Communities strategy and provide guidance and support to the Trustee Board and the CEO on rural issues and services.
What are we looking for?
