ABOUT AVANT ARTE Avant Arte is a curated marketplace that makes discovering and collecting art radically more accessible for a new generation. Our team of passionate experts collaborate with leading contemporary artists from across the globe to create bespoke limited-edition artworks to browse and collect. We began as a cult blog of contemporary artists and since 2015 we've grown our community to over 3.3 million strong across more than 100 countries. We're proud to collaborate with leading contemporary artists to create limited edition works - from sculpture editions and works on paper to NFTs and hand-finished silkscreen prints.
OUR CULTURE We’re a small team with really big ambitions, both for what we want to achieve and also the environment we’re building. We want to create a company that remains thoughtful as we scale and tries to be genuinely progressive in how we operate. We want people to really own what they do and be given the autonomy and freedom to make mistakes, learn, and create something meaningful.

📖 Opportunities to learn
Avant Arte has a budget for every employee to use to improve skills in the field we're working in. It's really amazing because it gives me the opportunity to learn new skills which make help me to do my work tasks more efficient, and even can make me do things we had to outsource before. Thereby the team is very motivational and open towards one another, so I've learned a lot already from colleagues in different job roles who talk to me about what they do and vice versa. I've learned things about tech, that I probably would never have, if it wasn't for this very transparant and communicative culture Avant Arte has.
🥰 Employee recognition
All team members never hesitate to throw shout-outs and compliments whenever they feel like it. On a weekly basis we have an all-hands in which anyone can give someone else in the team recognition for something they've done very well that week. It's very nice to see this recognition given to team members, and for the whole team to be aware of the accomplishments people made. We also have weekly 1 to 1's in which employees speak with their managers/ supervisors to give each other feedback and speak on how things are going.
🤩 Flat hierarchy
This is something I really appreciate at Avant Arte. The team I am in, which is the warehouse/ logistics team, every team member can do any task, so when things get busy even the manager will pick up tasks that are way under her capability, just because we have a common "we're all doing this together". It's nice to know you're appreciated in whatever role you have, and have people in "higher up" positions not taking you for granted, but also helping out wherever they can, and not give you a feeling they are "superior". Everyone seems very open and sharing, and not giving too much about who is more important.
Overall
Avant Arte is a growing and fast-paced company, so a lot of exciting things are happening. All employees are dedicated and motivated to work here, so there is an overall positive, optimistic and energizing atmosphere. All teams assist each other where they can, and everybody is valued for what they do. It really feels like what we're building, we're doing it all together, and everyone is equally important in reaching the company's goals.
