At Butternut, we put the food back into dog food. We believe dogs deserve to eat the healthiest, most natural and tastiest food with none of the nasties. That’s why we make freshly prepared dog food. Cooked like you would at home. Delivered in perfect portions.
Our goal is to help dogs live healthier, happier and longer lives whilst leaving humans smiling after every interaction. We’ve come a long way since our co-founders (Kev & Dave) hand-delivered the first Butternut Box, we now feed a lot of dogs across the UK - but we want to feed dogs everywhere. And to do this, we need a team of brilliant people who share that ambition to come and work with us.

Dave and Kev made the brave decisions to quit their corporate jobs back in 2016, on a mission to disrupt the pet food industry by providing fresh personalised meals to dogs across the UK. Why? They knew that our pets deserve better, and one look underst he carpet of the traditional pet food industry made them realise that they could do so much better for the health and wellbeing not only for dogs around the world but also their people too. Butternut box is a people-first organisation, scoring 10/10 from employees right across the organisation, and an impressive number of important policies designed to help their teams to be well looked after in their work too. Pet lovers at heart, but clearly people lovers too, they're on a serious mission with ambitious grotwth plans over the coming years.
