Creekside Education Trust was established in 2001 to conserve and maintain Deptford Creek for people and wildlife. We do this through three key ways: Delivering valuable conservation management of unique habitats in the Creek, on our Discovery Centre site and in nearby greenspaces. Running a programme adventurous, outdoor environmental learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Collaborating with partners and communities to strengthen connections of people with their local natural surroundings through varied and creative ways. We have a small team of staff and wonderful volunteers who enable all of this to happen, without which over 7,000 people per year wouldn't be able to enjoy the unique experience of wading in Deptford Creek and exploring over 250 different plant species at the Creekside Discovery Centre.
