Extinction Rebellion (XR) is a global network of non-violent direct action volunteers dedicated to addressing the climate and ecological emergency.  Our aim is to awaken society to the scale of the emergency and demand bold action from governments and institutions.  With over 1,100 groups in more than 60 countries, our decentralised model of activism has successfully shifted the conversation around climate change. Extinction Rebellion UK works to help raise awareness and call for urgent change in the United Kingdom. There are groups in towns and cities across the country which welcome people to take part in campaigning actions and supports them as we face the climate emergency.
