Freddie's Flowers

How we started: Freddie’s Flowers was started six years ago by Freddie Garland (his real name!) in his mum and dad’s back garden in Wandsworth, with little more than a milk float for deliveries and a tent as a ‘warehouse’. Now, we deliver to over 100,000 happy customers UK-wide, and have been listed in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 as one of the UK’s One’s to Watch. We have a team of around 95 people based at our HQ in Earlsfield and 60 at our packhouse in Heston. We all get along famously and have a great time!

How it works: Simply sign up on our website or with the help of one of our lovely canvassers. Then each week Freddie will source some absolutely cracking fresh flowers directly from the grower and put them together into a stunning seasonal arrangement. We'll pop the flowers into one of our boxes and send a wonderful delivery-person to take them straight to your door. In the box there's flower food and illustrated arrangement tips to help make that week’s flowers look absolutely stunning.

As passionate environmentalists, we want Freddie’s Flowers to be a pioneer for the sector and we are actively taking responsibility to mitigate our environmental impact. We are members of the Floral Sustainability Initiative, with a target of 90% of our flowers being sourced sustainably over the next 18 months. We are so proud that the Carbon Trust has certified Freddie’s Flowers as carbon neutral (PAS 2060 standard) for all UK operations. Not only that, we’ve also set a target of reducing our emissions by 5% each year for the next three years, as well as joining the Science Based Targets Initiative, aligning our emissions reduction strategy to the U.N. Paris Agreement 1.5°C target.
